LVDS cameras transmit the raw data at a speed of up to several gigabits per second and allow the uncompressed image to be further processed without loss. Ethernet cameras are available as Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX) and BroadR-Reach (100BASE-T1) versions. The image is transmitted with low latency, compressed (H264/H265/MJPEG) and processed (e.g. with white balance).
